However, the effect you used actually kinda distracts more than enhaces. Maybe if the effect was more intensified it might have turned out better.
Another thing is that she's wearing so much gray. It'd probably look okay if the entire pic were grayscaled, but with the other colors, it really amplifies how dull it is.
